Baked Five-Spice Tofu recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb of firm tofu.
1/3 cup of soy sauce.
1 tablespoon of water.
1 tablespoon of pure maple syrup.
1 tablespoon of minced ginger root.
1 teaspoon of curry powder.
½ teaspoon of five-spice powder.
Preparation Instructions:
Cut the tofu into half-inch cubes and place in a casserole.
In a bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients, then pour over the tofu.
Marinate the tofu in your refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cover the casserole, and bake for 30 minutes.
Uncover, and bake for another 20 minutes.
