Baked Tofu Cutlets recipe

Ingredients:

16 oz of firm tofu.
4 tablespoons of lime juice, freshly squeezed.
4 tablespoons of soy sauce.
1 teaspoon of honey.
1 teaspoon of minced fresh ginger root.
1 teaspoon of minced garlic.
1 teaspoon of chilli sauce.

Preparation Instructions:

Slice the tofu into 4 slices lengthwise. Set aside.

In a flat pan or non-stick baking dish just large enough to hold the slices in a single layer, combine the lime juice, soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic and chilli sauce.

Place the tofu in the marinade and refrigerate for about 4 hours, turning occasionally.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Remove the dish from the refrigerator and bring to room temperature.

Bake for 45 minutes.
